Chiton

Chiton is a lighting collection named after the ancient Greek garment chiton, a foundational piece of clothing defined by its fluid drape and natural fall around the body. The design translates the softness, folds, and lightness of fabric into a timeless lighting form shaped by light.

The gently curved glass shade evokes the flowing movement of the chiton, allowing light to glide across its surface and create a warm, calm atmosphere. The stone base introduces a grounded, material counterpoint to the glass’s translucency, transforming the piece into a sculptural object.

Chiton treats light not merely as a functional element, but as an interplay of form, rhythm, and historical reference. Drawing from ancient dress culture, the collection offers a quiet, elegant, and enduring presence within contemporary interiors.

Peria

Peria takes its name from the periactoi—the rotating stage devices used in ancient Greek theatres to change scenery. This reference directly informs the design’s core ideas of stage, transformation, and narrative.

The body, carved from natural stone, is conceived as an architectural fragment, evoking the feeling of a piece detached from an ancient stage and carried into the present. Softened breaks and carefully controlled voids ease the mass of the stone, creating a sculptural balance. The lighting element placed above completes this “stage fragment” through light.

Peria is not merely a lighting object, but a contemporary interpretation of the relationship once established between space, scenery, and storytelling. Through the dialogue between light, stone, and form, Peria creates a quiet yet powerful narrative within the space.
